To continuously enhance students’ learning experience, DIICSU held its Staff-Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) Meeting for Semester 1, Academic Year 2026–2027 on the afternoon of 21 October 2026 in Room 635. The meeting ran in two sessions for science and engineering separately. Andrei Pisliakov, Executive Vice Dean of DIICSU, Heads of the Virtual Teaching Sections and staff representatives attended, alongside more than 40 student representatives.

Prior to the meeting, the Institute collected feedback on teaching from relevant students, receiving over 30 valid suggestions. During the session, student representatives shared their views on curriculum content, assessment methods, group assignments and other matters. Attending staff listened carefully, took detailed notes and responded to each point raised. The discussion was interactive and constructive throughout.

The SSLC Meeting forms part of DIICSU’s regular staff-student engagement framework, with at least one session held each semester. It is designed to maintain open communication between staff and students, drive ongoing teaching innovation, improve the learning experience, and steadily raise the quality of education delivered through this Sino-foreign cooperative programme.
