DIICSU held the Staff-Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) meeting for the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year on the afternoon of 20 May at Room 635, DIICSU. The event ran across two separate sessions for senior and junior cohorts.

Andrei Pisliakov, Executive Vice Dean (EVD) of DIICSU, five Programme leads, Head of English and representatives of academic teaching staff were in present, together with over 30 student representatives.

Ahead of the meeting, DIICSU ran a all-cohorts-wide survey to collect feedback on teaching matters, yielding 27 valid suggestions in total. During the session, staff and students had frank and thorough conversations. Staff listened patiently to student concerns and shared feedback on class delivery, timetabling and assessment arrangements. The meeting went smoothly within a friendly and interacting atmosphere.

This SSLC meeting reflects DIICSU’s core ethos of prioritising, supporting and serving students. It also acts as a vital channel to gauge student needs first-hand and resolve practical issues within teaching delivery. Moving forward, DIICSU will compile and analyse all feedback, improve teaching and services to help students thrive holistically.
