I am a professor at the University of Dundee, previously serving as a professor at the University of St Andrews. My research focuses on artificial intelligence, specifically in solving complex logic problems for both industry and academia. I am interested in the development of explainable AI, aiming to enhance the transparency and interpretability of AI systems. I also apply AI to problems in pure mathematics, in particular the fields of computational group theory and combinatorics, using AI to solve problems in mathematics. My research endeavors aim to advance both theoretical understanding and practical applications in these disciplines.
